Announcement of increase for workers who work on Highways with the Ministry of Transportation

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, attended the ‘Signing Ceremony of the 20th Term Operation Level Collective Bargaining Agreement’ held at the General Directorate of Highways (KGM).

Uraloğlu said: “This is an important moment for our 1,060 workers who work in the central and provincial organizations of our Ministry and for our 18,534 workers who work at KGM,” he said.

Uraloğlu told the workers: “Your collective agreements will be paid as soon as possible.”

Türk-İş President Ergün Atalay, Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers Union Secretary General (TÜHİS) Adnan Çiçek and YOL-İŞ Union President Ramazan Ağar also attended to the ceremony.

45 PERCENT + 15 PERCENT INCREASE

According to the information we received from the Yol-İş Union, the decisions made in the Framework Agreement Protocol of the 2023 Public Collective Bargaining Agreement were signed in TİS in May.

Accordingly, the monthly gross minimum wages of workers whose monthly gross minimum wages are less than TL 15,000 have been increased to lira 15,000.

Salaries, which increased by 45 percent, including social participation, during the first 6 months of the year, increased by 15 percent in the second 6 months of the year.

Employees who do not have a labor bonus payment were introduced to pay premiums between 4 and 6 percent.

An additional 10% was made to the minimum wages of our veterans, victims of terrorism and relatives of martyrs.

Overtime wages increased by 70%.
