The stock market started the day with a record

The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul started the day at a record level of 6,135.31 points, an increase of 0.47 percent.

At the open, the BIST 100 Index started the day at 6,135.31 points, up 28.55 points and 0.47 percent from the previous close.

The bank index increased 0.49 percent and the holding index increased 0.55 percent. Although all the indexes of the sector increased, construction was the one with the highest income with 1.08 percent.

Moving in an uptrend yesterday, the BIST 100 Index ended the day at 6,106.76 points up 1.71 percent.

Analysts said the negative course in global stock markets continues due to concerns about inflation and recession, and said domestic stock markets diverged positively.

Analysts noted that signals from the US Federal Reserve (Fed) meeting minutes announced yesterday made pricing difficult.

Analysts pointed out that today will be followed by the intense data agenda, in particular the real effective exchange rate in the domestic market, retail sales in the Eurozone abroad and ADP private sector employment in the US.
