Following the decision on the sale of second-hand cars published today in the Official Gazette, a new statement has arrived from the Ministry of Commerce.
According to the regulations published in the Official Gazette, until January 1, 2024 it is prohibited to determine the price of used vehicles above the zero list price.
In the written statement made by the Ministry, it was indicated that within the scope of this restriction, all natural and legal persons will be warned by the ‘advertising platforms’ about their ads that violate the regulation and said: “Any advertising contrary to the regulation it will be accepted as a trade in second-hand land vehicles by our Ministry and an announcement will be made about those who place these advertisements.An administrative fine of up to 300 thousand TL per person will be applied.

In the written statement made by the Ministry, it was also mentioned that the application of 6 months-6 thousand km was extended until January 1, 2024.
In the statement it was emphasized that the alienations of all natural and legal persons that sell 3 or more used motor vehicles without a license, as well as those that sell with a license, in violation of the 6 months-6 thousand km regulation, are prevented. by public notaries.
