Determined tariff quota for the importation of some industrial products

It was decided to apply a tariff quota on the importation of compressors.

The Presidential Decision on the Implementation of Tariff Quotas on the Importation of Some Industrial Products was published in the Official Gazette.

Consequently, the TRQ for isobutane was 49,308 for the hermetic reciprocating compressor chiller, 98,935 for the hermetic reciprocating compressor chiller for isobutane as a refrigerant, and 500,000 for the rotary-type compressor.

Customs duties will not be charged for imports made under the tariff quota.

The Ministry of Commerce will issue an import license for imports within the scope of the decision.

In this context, the “Communiqué on the Administration of Import Quotas and Tariff Quotas” from the Ministry of Commerce was published in the Official Gazette.

With the Communiqué, the form of distribution, procedures and principles of application and use of said tariff quotas were determined.

This regulation will enter into force on July 1. (AA)
