141 percent increase for civil servants, 92 percent increase for retirees
Memur-Sen Vice President Hacı Bayram Tonbul said the lowest salary for civil servants should be raised to 22,000 lira in July and 25,300 lira with collective bargaining increases. Tonbul stated that for every 100 lira increase given to civil servants, 65 to 90 lira will be reflected to retired civil servants, based on the monthly bail rate. Tonbul said the lowest salary for a single civil servant, which is still 10,463 lira, will rise to 22,000 lira in July. Thus, the increase in improvement will be 108 percent. Tonbul indicated that to the 22,000 lire for the July-December period will be added a 6 percent collective bargaining increase and an inflation difference of around 9 percent, so the minimum wage for civil servants will increase to 25,000. 300 lire on July 1. With all these increases, the civil servant’s salary will increase by 141.8 percent in total in July.
ACCORDING TO MONTHLY ENGAGEMENT RATE
Retired public servants will benefit from these increases according to their monthly bail rates. Currently, the monthly bail rate varies between 65 and 90 percent. For example, if an increase of 141.8 percent is made to the official, the increase to be made for the retired official will change in the range of 92-127 percent. For example, the pensions of retirees who still receive 10,000 lira will increase to 19,200 lira for some and 22,700 lira for others, and the increase will be made according to their own pension rate.
22 thousand liras are already in your pocket
Hacı Bayram Tonbul said that for the lowest salary to be 22 thousand lira, there would be an increase in the base month or a new additional payment. Stating that the increase in the collective agreement and the inflation difference cannot be included in the 22,000 lira, Tonbul said, “Our president said that the lowest salary of civil servants will be increased to 22,000 lira in July. To this amount we would have to add our rights from the collective agreement, ”he said.
