The increase in tourism data from 2023 continues in Antalya, which is one of the most important tourist centers in the Mediterranean. According to data received from the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism of the Antalya Governorate, the number of tourists who arrived in the city by air between January 1 and June 10 was 4,62,891.

Tourism data for 2023 in Antalya exceeded the total number of tourists who visited the city by air between January 1 and June 10 in 2021 and 2022.

In the same period of 2021, 905 thousand 618 tourists visited the city by air, and 2 million 968 thousand 536 tourists visited the city in the same period of 2022. The figures for 2023 showed an increase of 37 percent compared to the same period of 2022.

In the period from January 1 to June 10, 2019, which is known as the ‘year of records’ in tourism, 4,26,529 tourists arrived in the city by air. Antalya’s 2023 figures left those of 2019 behind.
