Methane gas operation license granted to TTK in 3 provinces

The methane gas operation license has been granted for the Turkish Hard Coal Authority (TTK) field within the scope of Bartın, Kastamonu and Zonguldak provinces.

The decision of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Oil Affairs, regarding oil law, was published in the Official Gazette.

Consequently, on the condition that the commercial and financial investment program given for the methane gas operating license area is complied with, taking into account the current reserve status and the production program of the field, on February 7 , for the TTK field that covers a total area of ​​257 thousand 226 hectares in Bartın, Kastamonu and Zonguldak, it was decided to grant methane gas operation license until 2045.

On the other hand, the duration of the oil exploration license of the two fields of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO) in Diyarbakır and Adana has been extended for two years in order to reveal the hydrocarbon potential of the region and bring it to the country . economy.

The license for the TPAO field in Diyarbakır will be valid until May 13, 2025 and the license for the field in Adana will be valid until May 11, 2025. (BRITISH AUTOMOBILE CLUB)
