Consequently, the per capita production index of total calendar-adjusted industrial production decreased by 5.2 percent in the first quarter of the year, when the effects of the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake that occurred on February 6 were also felt, compared to the same period of the previous year. year.
Seasonally and calendar adjusted total industrial production per capita increased 0.1 percent from the previous quarter.
In the first quarter of this year, the index of total industrial production per hour worked decreased 4.5 percent annually and increased 0.4 percent quarterly.
HIGHER INCREASE IN CAPITAL GOODS PRODUCTION
When the calendar-adjusted data of the main industrial groups are analyzed, the largest annual increase in the production index per employee occurred in the production of capital goods with 7.8 percent.
The largest increase in the production index per employee, corrected for seasonal and calendar effects, was 1.3 percent, compared to the previous quarter, in the production of non-durable consumer goods. (AA)
