According to ITO data, in Istanbul in May; The Istanbul Means-of-Life Wage Index, which is a gauge of retail price movements, increased by 1.66% compared to the previous month, and the Wholesale Price Index, which reflects wholesale price movements. , increased by 5.60%.

Compared to May 2022, the rate of increase compared to the same month of the previous year, which shows price changes in May 2023, was 56.05% in the livelihood index of salaried workers of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) based on 1995. , and 70.33 percent on the Wholesale Price Index.

CHANGE IN SUBINDICES

In May 2023, the rates of variation of retail prices with respect to the previous month were as follows:
