Energy import bill decreased in April

According to temporary foreign trade statistics created by the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Commerce, Turkey’s total imports in April decreased by 4.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and became 28 thousand. 69 million dollars.

The amount paid by Turkey for energy imports decreased by 36.3 percent in April compared to the same month of the previous year and fell to 4,958,148,000 dollars.

In April of last year, this figure was registered at 7 thousand 783 million 865 thousand dollars. Therefore, the amount of energy imports decreased by 36.3 percent per year.

For their part, crude oil imports decreased 33.7 percent in April compared to the same month of the previous year and fell to 1,998,740 tons. (AA)
