Erdogan’s statement on the lowest salary of civil servants
Speaking at the General Assembly of HAK-İŞ, the People’s Alliance presidential candidate and AKP chairman, Erdoğan made statements about the salaries of civil servants.
“We go one step further in July. We will arrange the lowest salary of civil servants in such a way that it is not lower than the lowest salary of civil servants,” Erdogan said, adding that the lowest salary of civil servants will be 22,000 lira.
Erdogan announced that all first-grade civil servants who meet the conditions will also be able to benefit from the right to an additional 3,600 indicators.
THE RETIRED WILL BE REFLECTED
Stating that they will also delight retirees who receive pensions of more than 7,500 lira, Erdoğan said: “We have increased the minimum wage for public workers from about 12,000 lira to more than 21,000 lira. The lowest salary of civil servants will reach 22 thousand lire. These increases in the salaries of civil servants will also be reflected in retirees.
Stating that the increase in the salaries of civil servants will automatically reflect on retirees, Erdoğan said: “I have instructed our minister to complete this work by July, the legal date.”
