Aircraft order for 40,000 million dollars

$40 billion aircraft order from an Irish airline

Ireland-based airline Ryanair made the biggest deal in its history by ordering 300 737-MAX-10 planes worth $40 billion from US-based Boeing.

According to Ryanair’s statement, the ordered aircraft are expected to be delivered between 2027 and 2033.

The order, which includes a total of 300 Boeing 737-MAX-10 aircraft, is worth more than $40 billion at current list prices and is the largest purchase deal in the Irish company’s history.

With the delivery of the aircraft, Ryanair plans to create 10,000 jobs, including pilots, cabin crew and engineers, and expects an 80 percent growth in air traffic.

About half of Boeing’s deliveries are planned to replace Ryanair’s legacy fleet of B737NGs.

The deal will be presented for approval at Ryanair’s shareholders’ meeting on September 14. (AA)
