The Treasury borrowed 16.4 billion lira in 2 tenders

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance went to borrow 16,404.2 million liras in the 2 bond auctions it held today.

In the first tender, the Ministry reissued fixed coupon government bonds with a maturity of 5 years (1764 days), coupon payments every 6 months. In the tender, the simple interest was 16.9 percent and the compound interest was 17.61 percent.

In the tender, where the nominal offer amounted to 14,652 million liras, nominal sales were 6,668 million liras and net sales were 5,825.3 million liras.

In the bidding, in which all TL 2 billion bids from the public were fulfilled, TL 4.311 million bids were received from market makers and TL 2.5 billion were sold to this segment.

In the second auction, government bonds indexed to the CPI with a maturity of 10 years (3535 days) and coupon payment every 6 months were reissued.

In the tender, where the nominal offer amounted to 8,830 million liras, nominal sales amounted to 4,35 million liras and net sales amounted to 4,578.9 million liras.

In the tender, which was not sold to the public, offers were received from market makers for 3,356 million liras and 1,500 million liras were sold to this segment.
