A Memur-Sen Increase Request
Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen, said: “As the gap between the upper and lower levels of proportional increases has widened, low-income civil servants expect an increase. You want to increase your purchasing power,” he said.
Yalçın spoke at the 7th Ordinary General Assembly of the Official Confederation-You, held at the Culture and Congress Center of Hacı Bayram Veli University.
INFLATION HIGHLIGHT
Stating that there are economic problems in Turkey as well as in the rest of the world, Yalçın said:
“Prices have gone up, rents are really pity. Your mobilization for housing is very valuable. Therefore, we support every step you take towards a solution. Price instability exacerbates the existing problem.
The biggest lift for us is low inflation and price stability. We find the steps taken by the labor sector valuable and once again express our sensitivity about sustainability.”
