With the President’s Decision, market traders operating in 13 metropolitan cities, namely Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Mersin, Istanbul, İzmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya and Samsun, have benefited from the simple method. been opened.

Thus, the profits of market traders who meet the conditions of being subject to the simple procedure in these metropolitan cities will be exempt from income tax.

According to the terms determined for the year 2023, those who sell their purchased goods as is or after processing, those whose annual sales amount does not exceed 440 thousand lira, whose annual sales amount does not exceed 700 thousand lira, whose annual income does not exceed 220 thousand lira for those who are engaged in other businesses, if these jobs are done together, the annual income is 440 thousand lira Those who do not exceed lira can benefit from the simple method.

In this context, market traders who work following the market will also be subject to the simple procedure if they meet the necessary conditions.

Whether or not market vendors selling food products like fruits, vegetables and some other necessities through market surveillance would be subject to a simple procedure was determined according to the city they were in.

In accordance with current legislation, those operating in 13 metropolitan cities could not be subject to the simple procedure. With the Presidential Resolution published in today’s edition of the Official Gazette, the opportunity was also provided to market merchants in those provinces.
