Reputation does not listen to earthquakes
In the first three months of this year, more than 131 million Turkish liras were spent on representation and promotion expenses of public institutions. Even as life came to a halt in the pandemic, there was no decline in public representation and car rental spending. According to the determination made by SÖZCÜ based on the budgetary expenses of the Ministry of Finance and Finance, the cost of promoting the representation was 131 million 663 thousand liras in the three months of this year. The amount spent for expenses such as meetings, meals and flowers purchased by ministries and public institutions was 14 million 768 thousand lira in January, 43 million 849 million lira in February and 73 million 28 thousand lira in March this year. For this year, 964 million 258 thousand liras were allocated from the representation budget. In the first three months of this year, 6,652,551,000 TL were paid in rent for buildings used by public institutions. Apart from purchased office vehicles, the amount transferred from the budget to public rental vehicles in this period amounted to 100 million 97 thousand liras. In the same period, 6,491,000 liras were spent on leased aircraft.
