DİSK President Arzu Çerkezoğlu made a statement on the May 1 program.

Çerkezoğlu said: “We will meet Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya at 15:30. Our call to power is that we together remove this illegal ban on Taksim on the centenary of the Republic.

A joint press release was held at the DİSK headquarters with the participation of the presidents of DİSK, KESK, TMMOB, TTB, TDB and members of the board of directors.
