Support to the 223 million TL capacity mechanism for power plants

Turkey Electricity Transmission AŞ (TEİAŞ) will make a capacity payment of 223 million 228 thousand 954 lira to 44 electricity generation power plants for the month of February.

The list regarding payments to be made to generation facilities benefiting from the capacity mechanism has been published on the TEİAŞ website.

Accordingly, a total of 223 million 228 thousand 954 liras will be paid to 44 of the 51 power plants within the scope of the said mechanism for February.

THE HIGHEST PAYMENT TO GEBZE ELEKTRİK

The highest payment will be made to Gebze Elektrik Üretim Limited Şirketi with 18 million 85 thousand 966 lira. This company will be followed by İzmir Electricity Production Limited Company with 17 million 23 thousand 228 lira.

Within the scope of the capacity mechanism, TEİAŞ makes capacity payments to power plants to ensure sustainability and security of electricity supply. (AA)
