The temporary worker chart reached Parliament: Has the temporary worker chart been published in the Official Gazette?

The proposal, which includes the arrangement of cadres for temporary workers, was accepted by the Planning and Budget Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. It is expected that the regulation of cadres for temporary workers will be published in the Official Gazette and that it will enter into force soon.

PERSONNEL REGULATION FOR TEMPORARY WORKERS APPROVED BY THE ASSEMBLY

With the bill, the duration of temporary employment of workers is extended according to the needs of the institutions.

Consequently, the work period of those who work in temporary jobs can be extended up to 11 months and 29 days within the same visa period. In determining this term, the administration, institution and ministry to which the organization is affiliated or related will be authorized.

Temporary workers employed by administrations, institutions and organizations will be transferred to permanent staff positions that are vacant at these workplaces, based on the length of service they have provided at the workplaces where they are employed.

An additional payment will be made to ensure the balance of salaries between medical specialists and medical personnel or in positions employed in public institutions and agencies.

The bill, which is closely related to tens of thousands of workers, will be promulgated through publication in the Official Gazette after it is approved by Parliament.
