Declaration of pension and vacation bonus of Minister Bilgin

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, spoke during his visit to the Turkish Pensioners Association.

The Association of Retirees of Turkey demands that the vacation bonus of retirees at 5,500 lira be withdrawn, which is the lowest pension before the Ramadan Festival. Among the demands of retirees, there are also demands such as adjustment problems and salary increases.

In his statement after the visit, Bilgin stated that they are working on alternative models that will increase the lowest pensions and vacation bonuses.

Stating that the work on the lower pension and vacation bonus will include those who have retired within the scope of the EYT regulation, Bilgin said: “I hope our president will evaluate our proposals positively. This work will bring great relief in the lives of retirees, ”he said.

This work was postponed for a while due to the earthquake, but I will present it to our President next week at the latest. I believe that our proposals, which are expected by retirees, which will make them breathe easier and protect the economy from destruction today, will also be positively evaluated by our President.
