Foreign producer inflation was 48.13 percent annually in February

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced February Foreign Producer Price Index (YD-PPI) data.

Monthly variations of the two industry sectors; 2.25 percent increase in the extractive industry, 0.39 percent increase in the manufacturing industry.

Monthly variations of the main industrial groups; Increase of 1.01 percent in intermediate goods, decrease of 0.16 percent in durable consumer goods, increase of 0.80 percent in non-durable consumer goods, decrease of 3.98 percent in energy and increase in 0.52 percent in capital goods.

SUB-SECTORS WITH HIGHER INCREASED PRICES

Among the YD-PPI sectors, metallic minerals with 28.40 percent, clothing with 35.70 percent and basic metals with 38.17 percent were the subsectors with the smallest increase in the indices. On the other hand, other non-metallic mineral products with 70.71 percent, computing and electronic and optical products with 67.53 percent and beverages with 67.34 percent were the subsectors where the indexes increased the most.

Among the YD-PPI sectors, coke and refined petroleum products were 3.98 percent, computers and electronic and optical products were 2.61 percent, motor land vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers were the subsectors where the indexes decreased the most with 0.37 percent. For their part, metallic minerals at 3.00 percent, machinery and equipment at 1.85 percent, rubber and plastic products at 1.59 percent were the subsectors where the indices increased the most.
