Minister Bilgin’s ‘temporary worker’ statement
Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, said: “We are solving the problem of temporary workers, this problem will be a thing of the past.” saying.
Bilgin answered journalists’ questions about the agenda ahead of the AK Party Parliamentary Group Meeting.
Bilgin, who was asked to assess by stating that “With the Retirement Age Stuck (EYT) regulation, internship victims emerged,” Bilgin said, “The concept of internship victims is not correct, there is no internship victims. Why can those who do not pay premiums retire without paying premiums? Who are your bosses? That they inform us who will pay the insurance premium on their behalf, that we identify them, that they pay their premiums. The internship is an education, let’s use the concepts correctly.” he said.
When asked about the stage of the regulation regarding temporary workers, Bilgin said: “The regulation is currently in Parliament. I suppose it will be on Parliament’s agenda this week. We are solving the problem of temporary workers. File by file, we are closing the file by solving every problem that we have discussed in front of us. We said temporary workers after EYT, now the issue of temporary workers will hopefully be closed with the decision of our Assembly. The issue of temporary workers will be a thing of the past.” he replied he.
‘STAFF WILL BE TAKEN FROM TEMPORARY WORKERS’
When asked about the content of the temporary worker bill, which is expected to be presented to the Speaker of the Assembly, Bilgin said: “There are regulatory cadres in the state, and there are temporary workers as well. “Will there be a lower limit on work time for temporary workers?” Responding to the question, Bilgin said: “There is no limit, put it in order, start with the oldest. We also suggest existing temporary workers be employed for an extended term, 11 months, 29 days.” he gave the information. (AA)
