New regulation for building inspection organizations
The building inspection permit certificate of the building inspection organizations, which were prohibited from accepting a new job for the third year, will be canceled and their activities will be terminated.
The statement from the Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, which determines the principles on the application of administrative sanctions that will be established against the works inspection institutions and the architects and engineers who work in these institutions, was published in the edition today’s Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the activities of building inspection organizations can be examined by notification or complaint or ex officio.
In accordance with the established principles, the administrative sanctions to be applied to building inspection bodies that are determined not to comply with their inspection functions will be regulated separately for each job position.
CANNOT BE MORE THAN 50 PERCENT
Although administrative fines are required for more than one act in these institutions, this amount may not exceed 50 percent of the price of the building inspection service contract.
Following the announcement in the Official Gazette of the third-year ban on building inspection companies from hiring new jobs, the Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will revoke the organization’s building inspection permit, following the decision of the Central Building Inspection Commission.
The administrative sanctions that are established within the scope of the respective law against inspectors architects, engineers and other technical personnel of building inspection institutions will be applied through their announcement in the Official Gazette by decision of the Central Commission for Building Inspection and these fines will be paid within 1 month.
