Treasury property collections deferred
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change announced through the National Real Estate Statement that during the state of emergency the rates to be charged for buildings and land belonging to the Treasury in the provinces in the earthquake zone will be postponed.
The details were announced in the Official Gazette as follows:
“The object of this Communiqué; Within the scope of subsection (a) of the first paragraph of article 8 of the Presidential Decree on the Taking of Certain Measures Regarding Public Procurement, Claims and Social Facilities under the State of Emergency No. 127; State of emergency regarding treasury real estate in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa provinces, which are accepted as disaster areas due to earthquakes that had place on 2/6/2023, and in the district of Gürün of the province of Sivas Determine the procedures and principles related to the postponement of sales, preliminary permits, easement rights, use permits, lease rights, revenue sharing and similar rights and indemnities during the state of emergency, which must be collected in accordance with the contract during the emergency period.
OPPORTUNITY WILL BE CONSIDERED
“Payment operations, which are determined occupied as of February 6, 2023 (date included) of Treasury real estate and have not yet been determined and appraised by the price determination commission, or that have not been determined and appraised but not notified yet, it will be postponed taking into account the period of harvest and season and the statute of limitations.
The payment terms of those whose ecrimissile fees accrue in the deferral period are deferred.”
FEES AND PAYMENT
“The fees for use and damages in the scope of this Notice are postponed until the extension period and are charged in installments, without requesting a condition of application by the Administration. No late fees or interest apply to these charges.
Postponement period: It is the period between 06/02/2023 (including this date) and 08/05/2023.”
