INCREASE AID FOR RENTAL IN URBAN TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS

Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum also announced that rental assistance has been increased in ongoing urban transformation projects across the country. Noting that the rental assistance of 1,500 lira in Istanbul has been increased to 3,500 lira, the Institution said:

“We are increasing rental assistance to 3,500 lira in Istanbul to support the urban transformation of our citizens who receive rental assistance under our ministry. We increased it to 3 thousand lira in our big cities Ankara, Bursa, Antalya and İzmir. In other metropolitan cities, we increased the monthly rental assistance to 2,500 lira. In the remaining provinces, we increased rental assistance to 2 thousand lira. Hopefully, starting in April, we will deposit the new rental aid into our citizens’ accounts.”
