Minister Bilgin: The first salaries will be paid in April at EYT

Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, announced that the applications can be made after the regulation on Senior Retirement (EYT) is published in the Official Gazette, and the first salaries will be paid in April.

Minister Bilgin answered questions from members of the press before the AK Party group meeting at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Regarding EYT, Bilgin said: “A bittersweet joy, good luck to those who will retire. They will be applied after the regulation issued in the General Assembly of the Assembly is published in the Official Gazette. No need to worry, no need to panic. No one will be harmed,” he said.

Minister Bilgin, “Will the first salaries be in April?” On the question, “Of course, this is how the legal process begins. Salaries will be paid according to the requests at the beginning of the first month following the publication in the Official Gazette. There is no need to panic. They can apply through e-government, if they find a problem they can apply through e-government, which I think they won’t, then they can go and apply in person. This will happen in March,” he said.
