Inflation of agricultural inputs fell to 103.14 percent in December
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the agricultural input price index for December 2022.
Thus, in Agriculture-GFE in December 2022, 0.72 percent compared to the previous month, 103.14 percent compared to December of the previous year, 103.14 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 116 percent according to twelve month averages. There was an increase of .26.
Compared to the previous month, the index of goods and services used in agriculture increased 0.33 percent and the index of goods and services that contribute to agricultural investment increased 3.64 percent in the main groups.
Compared with the same month of the previous year, the index of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment increased by 94.35 percent and the index of goods and services used in agriculture increased by 104.42 percent.

ANIMAL FEEDING INCREASED 117.8 PERCENT IN ONE YEAR
The subgroups with low annual increase were veterinary expenses with 33.98 percent and machinery maintenance expenses with 42.63 percent, respectively.
On the other hand, the subgroups with the highest annual increase were building maintenance costs with 120.60 percent and animal feed with 117.81 percent, respectively.
The subgroups with the greatest monthly decrease were energy and oils with 8.19 percent and fertilizers and soil improvers with 1.87 percent, respectively.
For their part, the subgroups with the highest monthly increase were materials with 4.49 percent and animal feed with 3.41 percent, respectively.
