Tesla claims confused: Employees are fired due to unionization

In the Workers United union’s Twitter post, it was claimed that dozens of employees were laid off at the Tesla factory in Buffalo, New York, a day after the union campaign was announced.

Emphasizing that they are angry but will not be intimidated by this, union officials noted that the layoffs reveal the need for unionization at Tesla.

In US press news, the union has reportedly filed a complaint with the US National Labor Relations Board.

Accusing Tesla of illegally firing its employees “in retaliation for preventing unionization,” the union asked the Board to seek an injunction to prevent irreversible damage to employee rights.

Several of the fired employees, including at least one of the organizing committee members, were involved in the campaign controversy, according to the union. (AA)
