Some train services were suspended due to earthquakes
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that Euphrates Express, Güney Kurtalan Express, 4 September Blue Express, Van Lake Express and some trains between İslahiye-Mersin and Gaziantep-Nizip were suspended due to the earthquakes.
In the statement issued by the Ministry, information was shared about the train services suspended due to the earthquakes that affected 10 provinces centered in Kahramanmaraş.
Accordingly, the operations of the Euphrates Express operating between Elazig-Adana-Elazig and the Southern Kurtalan Express operating between Ankara-Kurtalan-Ankara at all stops, and from 4 September Blue Express operating between Ankara-Malatya- Ankara only between Sivas. and Malatya.
The Van Lake Express, which will operate tomorrow between Ankara-Tatvan-Ankara, will also stop passenger transport.
For regional trains, between İslahiye-Mersin and Gaziantep-Nizip will not operate temporarily.
Passengers who purchased tickets will be refunded without interruption. The operating date of the trains will be announced separately. (AA)
