Foreign population with residence or work permit in Turkey has been determined
With the announcement of the population data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the number of foreign population with a residence or work permit in Turkey has also become clear.
Thus, the foreign population residing in Turkey increased by 31,800 people compared to the previous year and reached 1,823,836 people. 49.5 percent of this population were men and 50.5 percent were women.
REFUGEES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS NUMBER
Foreigners with a visa or residence permit of less than 3 months for courses, tourism, scientific research and similar reasons, and Syrians in the country with temporary protection status are not included in the population.
In the area of the foreign population; People with a valid residence or work permit, people who have an identity document that replaces a residence permit such as an international protection identity document and who have a valid domicile declaration on the reference date, and blue card holders who have renounced the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey with permission.
