Russian company Transneft: We send 500 thousand tons of Russian oil to Poland
In a Transneft statement to the Russian news agency TASS, the work required to ship 20,000 tons of oil from Kazakhstan to Germany in February was reported to have been completed.
In the statement, in which it was informed that the shipment will be carried out through the Drujba pipeline, it was noted that the process is now the initiative of the Kazakhstani side.
In the statement, it was noted that Poland continues to buy Russian oil, and it was stated that 500,000 tons of Russian oil were shipped to this country in January.
As the countries of the European Union try to reduce the purchase of Russian oil due to the war in Ukraine, various sanctions are applied to the Russian energy sector.
The Drujba pipeline, on the other hand, was excluded from the scope of the sanctions. (AA)
