‘The EYT law has to be reviewed’
AKP President and Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the regulation on the retirement age (EYT) on December 28, 2022.
EYT members raised the voice that the regulation, which was expected by millions of people, did not reach the agenda of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The labels “We want our rights before 99” and “EYT” became the agenda of social networks.

Gönül Boran, EYT Federation board chair, said: “New complaints were added before the law was passed. We do not accept the removal of the age requirement and the introduction of premium complaints. We want to be able to establish all of our rights before 99,” he said.
