When will the differences between civil servants and pensions be paid?

Additional indicator differences of 7.8 billion lira will be paid to 2.3 million people. Civil servants normally receive their increased salaries on January 15. However, due to technical work on the 30 percent increase, the wage increases did not make it to January 15.

OFFICIAL, WHEN WILL THE PENSION DIFFERENCE BE IMPLEMENTED?

According to the statement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the differences of additional indicators that occurred as of January 15 in the field of the pension fund will begin to be paid as of January 27.

Public servants and retired civil servants received a 16.48 percent increase on January 15 due to the difference in collective bargaining and inflation. The remaining 13.52 points of the increase will begin to be paid from the announced date.

The ministry statement said:

“The monthly difference of their pensions with effect from January 1, 2023 and the additional amounts of indicative difference of their pensions with effect from January 15, 2023, of the recipients of disability, occupational disability, widowhood pensions or orphanage in the field of the Pension Fund, in the bank branches and PTT from where they receive the pensions, it will be sent to their accounts and the payment will begin on Friday, January 27, 2023.

AN INCREASE OF 30 PERCENT IS ACCEPTED FOR EMPLOYEES AND PENSIONERS

In the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the ‘Draft Law on the Amendment of the Law on Social Insurance and General Health Insurance and some laws’ was accepted. With the accepted invoice; The lower limit of pensions is increased from 3,500 TL to 5,500 TL. Its goal is to increase disability, old age and death pensions by 30 percent. With the proposed law; In accordance with the provisions of the Collective Agreement of the Sixth Duration for the years 2022 and 2023 with regard to the economic and social rights of public servants in general and their branches of service, the rate of increase, including the difference in Inflation, in the wages and salaries of public servants for the period between January 2023 and June 30, 2023, is regulated at 30 percent in order to increase the level of well-being of retirees. In this context; An increase of 30 percent is expected in civil servants and pensions.

Salary 2022: 9 thousand 105 TL
Salary increase: 11 thousand 836 TL

OFFICERS MINIMUM RETIREMENT SALARY

Salary last year: 6 thousand 78 TL
Salary increase: 7 thousand 901 TL

MINIMUM PENSION SSK AND BAG-KUR

Salary after SSK 2000: 3 thousand 500 TL
Salary increase: 5 thousand 500 TL
