Confidence in the real sector increased in January
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), Business Trend Statistics and Real Sector Confidence Index (RKGE) released data for January 2023.
Thus, in January 2023, the seasonally adjusted Real Sector Confidence Index increased 1.8 points compared to the previous month and went to 103.4.
When the diffusion indices of the survey questions that make up the index are examined, it is observed that the evaluations regarding the amount of the export order in the next three months, the general trend, the total amount of the order in the last three months, the current finished goods stock, fixed capital investment spending and the current total order amount affect the index in an upward direction Assessments on the total volume of employment and production in the next three months affected the index in a downward direction.
The Confidence Index of the Real Sector, which is not seasonally adjusted, increased 3.9 points with respect to the previous month and went to 101.7.
