Exporters have trouble reflecting the rising cost of the Turkish lira in prices as the exchange rate is below inflation. Explaining that they have the ability to increase this to USD 20 billion, Tecdelioğlu stated that they also want a sector-specific competitive energy tariff. SME definition should be increased to TL billion
Reminding that companies that do not exceed 250 million lira are defined as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), Çetin Tecdelioğlu pointed out that there are significant increases in turnover due to inflation, and that this limit should be increased to 1 billion of TL in order for the SME class to benefit from support and incentives faster. Tecdelioğlu also stated that companies with retirement age (EYT) will lose their trained human resources.
