The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) announced the statistics of established and closed companies for December 2022.
Thus, in December 2022, 4,891 more companies were closed. Last year a total of 24,303 companies were closed.
Compared with the previous month, the number of closed enterprises increased by 177.3 percent, the number of closed cooperatives by 218.8 percent, and the number of closed individual business enterprises increased by 41.3 percent. hundred.
In 2022, compared to 2021, the number of closed businesses increased by 42.8%, the number of closed cooperatives by 17.8%, and the number of closed individual trading companies by 9.3%.
MORE CLOSING IN WHOLESALE AND RETAIL TRADE
Companies and cooperatives that closed in December; 1,559 were engaged in wholesale and retail trade, motor vehicle and motorcycle repair, 713 in construction, and 631 in the manufacturing industry.
It was reported that 1,381 of the closed individual commercial companies are in wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, 518 in construction and 370 in the manufacturing sector.
27.8 PERCENT ONE-YEAR INCREASE IN ESTABLISHED COMPANIES
According to TOBB data, the number of enterprises established in December increased by 14.2 percent, the number of individual business enterprises established increased by 50.2 percent, and the number of cooperatives established by 12.8 percent. compared to the previous month.
In 2022, compared to 2021, the number of established enterprises increased by 27.8 percent, the number of established cooperatives by 38.8 percent, while the number of established individual business enterprises decreased by 1 .7 percent.
In December 2022, 4,990 companies and cooperatives were established in the commerce sector, 2,286 in the manufacturing sector, and 2,014 in the construction sector.
Business companies of natural persons established in December 2022; 1,318 were dedicated to the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles in the wholesale and retail trade, 833 in construction and 408 in the manufacturing industry.
