The Communication on the Implementation of the Food Aid Regulation of the Ministry of Finance was published in the Official Gazette.

With the Communiqué, the principles regarding the minimum food prices to be charged to public servants and contracted personnel who will benefit from the dining room service in 2023 were determined.

Consequently, the expenses required by food aid will be covered by the allocations included in the institutional budgets, without exceeding two thirds of the food expenses for Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir, and half for the rest of the provinces. The part of the cost of the meal that cannot be covered by the budget will be taken from the staff.

From January 15, 2023 to January 14, 2024, a daily fee of between 3.81 lira and 15.55 lira will be charged to officials who will benefit from the lunch service.

Contract staff will also pay for lunch between 4.64 lira and 18.59 lira per day, depending on their salary.

DAILY FEES TO RECEIVE
