15 answers to 15 questions in the Ministry’s ‘My New Home Campaign’

The Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change answered 15 questions about the ‘My New Home with the New Housing Financing Model’ campaign for middle-income people.

Yesterday, Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati and Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum announced the details of the New Evim project, which is a middle-income housing campaign.

Amounts of financing to be provided by the banks within the framework of the program; A maximum of 5 million TL was announced in Istanbul, a maximum of 3 million TL in Ankara, İzmir, Muğla, Antalya, Bursa, Mersin, and a maximum of 2 million TL in other provinces. In addition, he indicated that interest rates will start at 0.69 percent in financing to be granted with a maximum maturity of 15 years.

The Ministry of the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change answered 15 questions about the campaign today.

The statement entitled ‘My New Home Campaign with 15 Answers to 15 Questions’ responded by the Ministry is as follows:

1- Which provinces will the Yeni Evim campaign cover and how many houses will the campaign cover?

The campaign will be valid in 81 provinces and in the first stage it is expected to sell 100,000 homes.

2- Will the initial payment be paid?

10% of the price of the house will be paid in advance, being able to pay more if they wish.

3- Will second-hand houses be included in the campaign?

There will be zero houses in the campaign. Projects produced by the General Directorate of Emlak Konut; Projects of companies affiliated with GYODER, İNDER, KONUTDER, İMKON and the Turkish Contractors Association and all small and large-scale housing projects produced by companies in all 81 provinces; They will participate in this process if they meet the technical and financial criteria.

4- What will the payment plan be like?

With a maturity difference of 0.69, installments will be determined with a maturity of 15 years and that do not exceed 40 percent of the household income.

5- Will there be an age limit in the project?

Any citizen of the Republic of Turkey, over the age of 18, who is considered suitable for obtaining a loan from banks, will be able to benefit from the campaign.

6- Can a resident of Istanbul buy a house in Ankara?

Citizens who want to own a house in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya, Mersin and Muğla must reside in that city for 1 year. This condition will not apply in other provinces.

7- Can it be applied if one of the spouses resides in the home?

If one of the spouses has a residence in it, it will not benefit. A youth over the age of 18 and registered with SSI may apply even if there is a house in the home.

8- Can the houses be sold?

It will not be sold for 5 years, except force majeure such as death or divorce. Again, those who have sold homes in the last 1 year will not be able to benefit from the project.

9- Can a person who bought and sold a house before benefit from the campaign if they don’t have a house now?

The person who will benefit from the campaign must not have sold a house in the last year.

10- When will the project start?

As of January 16, applications for the project will be accepted.

11- How will the applications be?

Those who want to buy a house will apply to banks or banks for participation with the flat they find. The bank will monitor compliance with the criteria by both the project and the individual, and will allocate loans for suitable projects.

12- Will there be an application fee?

No application fee will be charged.

13- Is the house under construction included in the scope of the campaign?

Homes completed in 81 provinces, completed homes and homes in progress to a certain extent, and projects that have signed a guarantee agreement with banks will be included in the campaign.

14- Will there be a raffle in this campaign as in the TOKİ campaigns?

Starting January 16, citizens who find their home from the homemaker will be able to get a no-draw home loan.

15- Will a citizen who has left a house belonging to his father and grandfather be able to benefit from the campaign?

Citizens who are homeowners with inheritance can apply.
