The decision on the VAT change was published in the Official Gazette.

The Modifying Notice to the “General Implementation Statement of the Value Added Tax” made by the Tax Administration of the Ministry of Finance was published in the Official Gazette. The following statements about the change were included:

* ARTICLE 1- The following paragraph is added after the first paragraph of the Communication of General Implementation of the Value Added Tax (II/E-9.) published in the Official Gazette dated 4/26/2014 with the number 28983 and the same Communication (II /E-9.1.) The phrase “12/31/2022” in the second paragraph of section .2.) is changed to “12/31/2024”.

* On the other hand, with the Presidential Agreement dated 12/20/2022 and numeral 6583 published in the Official Gazette dated 12/21/2022 and numeral 32050, the implementation of said article was established until 12/31/2024.

* ARTICLE 2- The phrase “57,300 TL for the year 2023” is added after the phrase “25,700 TL for the year 2022” in the ninth paragraph of section (III/B-3.) of the same Communiqué.

* ARTICLE 3- This Notice enters into force on 1/1/2023.

* ARTICLE 4- The provisions of this Communiqué are executed by the Minister of Treasury and Finance.
