How much are school bus fares? School service fee increased in Istanbul

At the meeting of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Transport Coordination Center (UKOME), a 19 percent increase in school bus fares was accepted.

HOW MUCH IS THE SCHOOL SERVICE FEE IN ISTANBUL?

A 19.95 percent increase in service fees was suggested. A 42 percent increase was offered for the hop-on-hop-off fare.

The school bus fare increase will be effective from the second semester of the academic year, while other fare increases will be effective from January 1, 2023.

INCREASES ACCEPTED

The offer was accepted and in accordance with the decision made, the new bus, metro, metrobus, Marmaray, taxi, minibus, minibus and service fares were determined as follows:

• Full e-ticket fee from 7.67 TL to 9.90 TL

• Student E-ticket fee from 3.74 TL to 4.83 TL

• E-ticket fee for teachers from 5.49 TL to 7.09 TL

• Full subscription fee from 602 TL to 777 TL

• Subscription fee for students from 109 TL to 140 TL

• Yellow taxi meter opening fee from 9.80 TL to 12.65 TL

• Yellow taxi distance fee from 6.30 TL to 8.51 TL per km

• The yellow taxi hourly rate is 100.80 TL from 67.20 TL per hour

• Short distance yellow taxi fare from 28 TL to 40 TL

• Hop-On Hop-Off minibus fare from 5.25 TL to 7 TL

• School bus fare from 0 to 1 kilometer from 660 TL to 792 TL

• Staff service from 10 to 17 seats (minibus) The fee is from 352.15 TL to 422.41 TL.

• Longer distance Marmaray fare from 16.97 TL to 21.91 TL,

• Fare for the longest distance of Metrobus from 11.38 TL to 14.69 TL,
