New Year’s rates announced on the electricity and gas futures market
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) has determined the unit rates for the Natural Gas Futures Market and the Electricity Futures Market, which will come into force as of next year. The decisions of the EMRA Board of Directors on the matter were published in the Official Gazette.
Consequently, the unit transaction fee that will be valid in 2023 in the Natural Gas Sales Organized Wholesale Market is 0.001961 liras per standard cubic meter, the unit imbalance settlement fee is 0.006035 liras per standard cubic meter, the annual participation fee is 52 thousand 303 lira and the objection is not accepted. The fee was 200 lira per piece.
In the Natural Gas Futures Market, the unit transaction fee has been determined at TL 0.000450 per standard cubic meter, the annual participation fee is TL 2,500 and the unaccepted objection fee is TL 200 per Unit.
THE ELECTRICITY HAS BEEN 1 LIRA PER MEGAVATSHAT
In the Term Electricity Market, the unit transaction fee is 1 TL per megawatt-hour, the annual participation fee is 10,000 TL, and the objection fee is 200 TL per unit.
The Board decided to apply the unit fee of lira 0.20 per megawatt hour and the annual participation fee of lira 1,000 in the Renewable Energy Resources Market and Guarantee System next year.
