Industrial production increased in October

According to TURKSTAT, industrial production rose 2.5 percent in October compared to the same month a year earlier.

When the industry subsectors are analyzed (2015=100 years of reference), in October 2022 the extractive sector index decreased 7.4 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, the manufacturing industry index increased 3, 7 percent and the index for the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sector increased by 3.7 percent, while the index for the production and distribution sector decreased by 4.8 percent.

Industrial production rose 2.4 percent in October compared with the previous month.
