The energy bills of the soaring champions of 2022
Most of the increase in the cost of living in Turkey in 2022 was energy bills, which were even double the official inflation rate.

The housing rate is 89.5 percent in the low level; increased by 184.2 at the high level. The industrial tariff increase rate was 433 percent. In 2022, the agricultural irrigation fee increase was 142.5 percent with three increases,” Akın said.
“Natural gas increased 4 times across all subscriber types in 2022 and increased by 164 percent. The industrial natural gas rate, for its part, increased 273 percent. With the 49.5 percent increase in natural gas used by electricity generation plants, the rate of increase in 2022 increased to 261 percent.
’11 TIMES RISES AFTER GOODNESS’
