New rule for market chains
Recently, the government has focused on chain markets due to the high cost of living. The Ministry of Commerce took a notable step in monitoring prices.
With the regulation published in the Official Gazette of the Ministry of Commerce, new rules for chain markets were introduced.
In accordance with the regulations, store chains will transfer the data of the products they offer for sale and their branches to the Ministry of Commerce system. This data can be shared with institutions, organizations and the public. Thanks to the decision, the way will be opened for the consumer to make price comparisons.
BAHÇELİ HAS BEEN DIFFICULT TO EXPLAIN
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli made a statement saying, “The connection and relationship of the chain stores that constantly raise money with FETO should be thoroughly investigated.”
Following this statement, Commerce Minister Mehmet Muş stated that they have audits on the on-chain markets, saying, “We apply administrative and criminal sanctions to the extent permitted by law.”
BAHÇELİ HAS AN ANSWER
BİM executive board member Galip Aykaç gave a harsh response to MHP president Bahçeli, who said that the chain stores’ relationships with FETO should be investigated. Saying, “We have something to say to the party leaders who threatened us with FETO,” Aykaç said, “The beautiful people of this country did not respect their lies in any way.”
