Drivers started converting their vehicles to LPG

Overlapping increases in fuel prices began to reduce interest in gasoline and diesel. Drivers, whose vehicles use other types of fuel, began to breathe air in the industry. Although citizens preferred LPG as fuel, considering their budget, the conversion to LPG in vehicles gained momentum. This situation intensified the work of industrialists.

“WE HAVE MORE FACILITIES FOR CARS 2-3 YEARS OLD”

İbrahim Çekil, who has been providing LPG conversion services in the industry for 27 years, said: “Currently, the markets are giving opportunities to LPG due to the excessive increase in fossil fuels. Our assembly on the LPG vehicle is progressing very quickly. Unfortunately we can’t install it for everyone at the moment, we are working on an appointment. We carry out the assembly of the people to whom we have given the appointment a few days before or a week before. Today one of our installations is being carried out. Before that, we had one more montage. It’s over, I shipped it and now we put it on too many vehicles in the 2021-2022-2023 band. We have more facilities for cars from 2 to 3 years old, ”he said.

“LPG IS IN LINE PHASE NOW”

Çekil indicated that it is not a cheap installation, saying: “LPG prices in brands increase according to inflation, according to the depreciation of the currency, according to the increase in the market. There is no cheap assembly at the moment either. I am an industrialist, I use it, but the current prices seem expensive even to me. But even then, LPG is currently at a high level due to the widening fuel gap and the difficulties of our low income citizens. With our own vehicles we immediately convert even newly purchased vehicles to LPG. Since we can’t stand gasoline, the use of gasoline is excessive,” he said.

“RIGHT NOW, PEOPLE ARE COUNTING ‘WHERE WE SAVE’”

Cekil said that the business is very busy at the moment and that they work from early morning until late at night to meet the demands of customers: “In the current conditions, this situation forces us. Right now, the environment requires it because people calculate: “Where do we save, what do we do, where do we cut?” There is a lot of maintenance at the moment. Because after 1 month the school expenses will start. Families are trying to adjust their budgets accordingly. Because there is the logic that ‘if I take care of it now, I can spend it on my son at least next month’. That is why there is intensity in maintenance ”, he affirmed.

“THE PRICES OF CONVERSION TO LPG ARE BETWEEN 11 AND 25 THOUSAND LIRAS”

Providing information on LPG conversion prices, Çekil said: “There is a price between 11 thousand and 25 thousand TL in LPG prices at the moment. The model of the vehicle varies according to the type. The tubes we laid for 6,500-7,000 TL now cost 12-13,000 TL. It doubled. It seems that it will increase even more. No price stops. Parts, tanks, spare parts, everything is increasing. From the smallest plastic clamp we use to the bolt, from the front kit to the float, everything is elevated from A to Z,” he said. (PHOENIX)
