Cengiz Eroldu was reelected president of the OSD

Automotive Industry Association (OSD) held its 48th Ordinary General Assembly.

Cengiz Eroldu, who assumed the Presidency of the Association’s Board of Directors at the General Assembly last year, was re-elected president.

Eroldu said: “The earthquake disaster our country has experienced has deeply affected all of us.
To be united to heal wounds, to maintain our solidarity, producing
Growing up is more important than ever. living as always
As the automotive industry, it is our duty as the automotive industry in this difficult process in which we find ourselves.
We will continue to do so,” he said.

TURKEY IS THE 13TH COUNTRY THAT PRODUCES THE MOST VEHICLES

Turkey’s position as the 13th country that produces the most vehicles in the world in 2022.
Eroldu remembered that he was protecting her and continued as follows:

“When we look at the position of the Turkish automotive industry on the global stage, we see that we are still the leader in commercial vehicles and tractors in the European Union.

All these are the results that the Turkish auto industry has achieved by putting stone on stone over the last 50 years. In fact, we’re off to a good start for 2023.

When we look; In the first 2 months, our total production increased by 14 percent. On the other hand, we closed the first 2 months with an 8 percent increase in our exports, and this outlook gives us hope for 2023. The most important sine qua non of the automotive industry is the expansion of industrial production. Our industry already has a capacity of 2 million. We want to further increase this capacity and create even more value. We have three main themes here. Protection and development of exports, expansion of the domestic market considering the trade balance and rejuvenation of the automotive fleet.
