Electric cars are approaching the number of diesel cars in the Netherlands

The number of electric cars was indicated to include fully electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, with approximately 735 thousand of them reportedly purchased in the past 5 years.

It was noted that there are 7.8 million gasoline cars in the country, and it is expected that the number of electric cars will soon exceed the number of diesel cars and gradually increase their weight in the automotive market.

According to the coalition agreement of the Dutch government, it was noted that from 2030 the sale of gasoline and diesel vehicles will be prohibited. (AA)
