OYDER President: Mahrat upgrade works will be completed soon
The Minister of Treasury and Finance, Nureddin Nebati, met yesterday with the representatives of the Association of Authorized Automotive Dealers (OYDER). During the meeting attended by OYDER President Erciş and the Board members who accompanied him, they exchanged ideas about the sector, and the arrangement of the tax base on the car came up.
In the statement made by OYDER regarding the meeting, OYDER President Erciş stated that as OYDER’s Board of Directors, they visited the Ministry of Finance and Finance to discuss issues related to the sector, as they do every possible opportunity.
ACTION WILL BE TAKEN WITH OTHER ISSUES
Stating that they had an opportunity to convey the issues related to the sector on the occasion of the meeting, Erciş said, “First of all, we convey our request that the baseline update, which has not been done since January, be perform as soon as possible. In addition, we conveyed to our Minister Nureddin Nebati the difficulties consumers face in accessing credit for car purchases and we share our sectoral problems”.
Expressing that the Ministry is aware that updating the base has become a necessity, Erciş said, “They conveyed that work is being done on this issue and it will be concluded as soon as possible. In addition to this, they stated that they will continue working on other problems and will take measures to decongest the sector.
IT IS EXPECTED TO ENTER LIFE IN DECEMBER
According to the news shared by Anadolu Agency, Minister Nebati stated during the meeting that the final stage in regulating the tax base on the car has been reached and the application would be implemented from December 1.
In his post about the meeting on his social media account, Nebati said: “We have extensively discussed the results of the applications we have put into use, as well as consultation-oriented opinions and suggestions.” (AA)
