The auto market shrank 4.7 percent in the first 10 months

The Association of Automotive Dealers released October data on the automobile and light commercial vehicle market.

Thus, in the period January-October 2022, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market decreased 4.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 585,752 units.

IN OCTOBER THE CAR MARKET INCREASES 17.1 PERCENT PER MONTH

The automobile and light commercial vehicle market reached 65,222 in October 2022, with an increase of 14.9% compared to the same month of the previous year.

In October 2022, auto sales rose 17.1 percent from the same month a year earlier to 47,440, while the light commercial vehicle market rose 9.5 percent to 17,782.

Although the automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased 1.0 percent compared to the 10-year average October sales, the automobile market decreased 4.6 percent compared to the 10-year average October sales .

The light commercial vehicle market, on the other hand, was up 19.7 percent compared to the 10-year average sales in October.
